We require a reliable, enthusiastic & hands on person to fulfil the role as a Sales Technician and Store person in our Coopers Plains office.

Your day will include counter sales, taking phone/faxed orders, making outbound sales calls, Warehouse & Office duties. An Industrial/Mechanical background would be an advantage along with a high standard of customer service. Additionally we will train you in making some of our cables and other products. Salary is negotiable.

Description : • Assist with quality audits and quality policies implementation • Responsible for inspecting articles and materials to conform to quality, appearance and other requirements. • Assist in maintaining the corporate quality manual and quality records • Assist in reviewing, analysing and reporting the principal causes of quality loss and non-conformance • Assist in quality training • Monitors the quality systems to determine where improvements are needed and recommends and oversees the necessary corrective actions • Assists in improving the manufacturing processes in the company by process improvement and training • Assists in ensuring proper maintenance of equipment • Works in conjunction with the technical manager and Operations Director

Description : • Process day to day reports and ensure that current practices as regards the EDP system are in line with Company policy. • Liaise with suppliers for the best possible price and delivery considering quality requirements of the Company. • Liaise with Sales personnel to ensure customers requirements are met as they relate to inventory. • Review inventory for replenishment purposes as required • Process branch replenishments in conjunction with branch managers and their staff • Operate in conjunction with Product Managers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. • Prepare timely and accurate inventory analysis reports • Arrange for the accurate payment of overseas suppliers based on approved purchases of goods or services. • Timely processing of International purchases of goods and services (Stock in Transit) • Liaise with Customs Department, Sales Department, International forwarding companies and customs clearance organisations to effect the efficient handling of imports. • Process schedules, manufacturing jobs for the factory • Expedite components, materials & supplies • Undertake all other functions as may be directed by the Operations Director
