Gateskates is a customised tautliner gate suspension system designed to simplify and ease the removal and replacement of tautliner gates. The system consists of a roof-track mounted rolling bogey and cable suspension kit that is permanently attached to the gate.

Gateskates fits a large variety of roof-track shapes and sizes and can also be retro-fitted to trucks and trailers where there is no track or where the track is unusable for whatever reason.

Attaching the gates is simple utilising 2 U-bolts. Snap hooks can also be fitted allowing the gates to be removed for your convenience.

The suspension cables on Gateskates are covered in a thick, heavy duty plastic sleeving designed to protect the valuable curtains from damage.

Any owner or fleet manager of a curtain-sided truck or trailer with gates will be aware of the tedious task that gate removal and replacement is when performed dozens of times a week. Not to mention the potential for gate loss or personal injury risk this heavy, above shoulder-height lifting can cause the owner/driver.

Less manual handling of the gates by the driver significantly slashes the potential for personal injury, driver downtime and can help to reduce subsequent OH&S costs. The cable suspension takes the full weight of the gate and all the driver needs to do is raise the gate by about 100mm or so to clear the bottom tongue, lower it and roll it out of the way.

Gates are always attached to the trailer and so can’t be left behind, which is good for the driver. Loading and unloading times are also reduced making the delivery process easier, quicker and safer for all concerned.
