Uniflex Remote Valve Actuators are made from high grade Stainless Steel, Brass, Bronze & UV Stabilised plastics, once assembled & installed become fully sealed to keep out the harshest of marine environments plus having been tested to withstand high temperatures extreme shock & vibration as well as immersion & pressure tests, all reports are available on request. Other components such as Deck Boxes, 90 degree adapters & stuffing tubes are essentially maintenance free aside from routine greasing through installed nipples.

Fire is one of the worst events that can occur in a marine vessel. This marine application saw the installation of 48 remote valve cable assemblies enabling the remote actuation of valves controlling fuel, waste water, air and ballast as well as flood systems to control fire.

The AeroControlex ball bearing control provides a highly efficient and accurate system which maximises load capability while minimising backlash. This control consists of three stainless steel blades, or races, separated by two rows of free-floating stainless steel balls positioned by stainless steel or Teflon ball guides.
This "stack" of races, balls and ball guides is radially supported by a flexible stainless steel casing. This casing may be sealed from the operating environment with a vinyl or other protective cover. During installation, the "slack" is allowed to helix within the casing enabling multiplane bending. This is an important feature for addressing complex routings through structures.
