Hoof Governors are designed for installation between the carburettor and intake manifold to control engine and/or top vehicle speed to a predetermined limit.

Their construction makes possible the same engine output within 1/2 to 1h.p. at the governed speed that is possible to secure from the engine without the governor installed.
